Potential of 7,000 Users Throughout Europe to Use Enterprise Access Card Solution

FREMONT, Calif., November 15, 2005 – ActivCard Corp. (Nasdaq: ACTI) d/b/a ActivIdentity, a global leader in digital identity assurance, today announced it signed new customer Nissan, part of the Renault-Nissan Alliance, the number four automotive group in the world. Nissan is deploying the Company’s integrated solution for employee badges to gain physical access to buildings and logical access to networks with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Single Sign-On (SSO) and one-time use password (OTP) technology.

The Enterprise Access Card solution relies on the functionalities of the Company’s Card Management System product as the central and delegated card management platform allowing Nissan to use multiple authentication technology including PKI, SSO and OTP. Nissan needed to upgrade to a comprehensive multi-services employee badge.
