ActivClient for Windows
ActivClient is available in multiple editions for Microsoft® Windows®:
- ActivClient – Deploy strong authentication for Windows login, VPN, dial-up, web login, thin client and remote applications, as well as data security, digital signature and secure e-mail. ActivClient supports a variety of credentials including digital certificates, passwords with SecureLogin® SSO and one-time passwords with 4TRESS™ AAA Server. ActivClient supports Personal Identity Verification (PIV) cards and is FIPS 201 certified.
- ActivClient CAC – For US Department of Defense agencies that want to use the Common Access Card (CAC) to enable strong authentication for Windows login, VPN, dial-up, web login, thin client and remote applications, as well as data security, digital signature and secure e-mail. ActivClient CAC is optimized for easy and cost-effective deployment in US DoD CAC environments.
- Authentication Client – provides organizations with alternative methods to access Windows workstations, adding functional enhancements as well as increasing the flexibility for deployment options.

Deployment and integration tools
ActivIdentity also provides integration tools that facilitate deployment and integration of ActivClient:
- ActivClient SDK – Enable your own applications to leverage ActivClient for support of smart cards or USB tokens. ActivClient SDK includes a set of standard and powerful APIs to access and use the PKI keys and certificates, One-Time Passwords and static data (passwords or any kind of demographic data) on smart cards and USB tokens.
- ActivClient Resource Kit – For IT administrators, the ActivClient Resource Kit facilitates deployment of ActivClient in each organization’s specific environment. The Resource Kit includes deployment tools and a Customization and Deployment Guide that lists all configuration options and explains how to customize and deploy ActivClient and integrate it with other products.
