Smart Employee ID with IBM

For IBM customers seeking to implement smart card badges throughout their organization, ActivID™ Card Management System extends the capabilities of the IBM Tivoli® Identity Manager to streamline the processes for issuance and management of smart cards. This solution includes optional integration with Physical Access Control Systems for a single-step issuance that enables both physical and logical access with a single smart card ID.

When deployed with ActivClient® middleware on end-users workstations, this solution enables smart card security for Linux, Microsoft Windows®, Solaris and Mac OS X for workstation locking, secure remote access, as well as data security, secure e-mail and digital signatures.
