Strong Authentication for Mozilla / Firefox with Smart Cards
Popular web browsers such as Mozilla®/Firefox® support the ability to use certificates for enabling SSL/TLS encryption and strong authentication. With a smart card and ActivClient software, organizations can use PKI-based services with web applications. Instead of installing credentials in the browser, the user keeps their credentials on a smart card. The credentials aren't left behind on the computer, and the user can easily move from one computer to another.
